Rev. Ruby Myers was installed as Pastor of Trinity Lutheran Church on January 9th, 2022.
Pastor Ruby was born and raised in Chicago, Illinois. Pastor Ruby received her bachelor's degree in Biology from Augustana College Rock Island, Illinois in 1977. Recognizing her call to ministry, Pastor Ruby began her theological studies in 2011 at the Lutheran School of Theology at Chicago as a part-time student and working full-time. Pastor Ruby completed her studies in 2020 with a MDiv degree in Word and Sacrament.
Pastor Ruby performs all the daily functions of a parish minister. On top of adjusting to being a Pastor, Ruby is also learning about her new surrounding after moving from Chicago, Illinois to Phoenix, Arizona with her husband, Marion. Pastor Ruby is also the mother of three sons and grandmother of 4. Pastor Ruby has already attended several monthly Conference meetings and met with various ministry leaders at Trinity Lutheran.
