Sunday School
Classes are available for children 4 years old through high school. Our teachers are experienced and use a wide variety of seasonal and liturgical programs to help children and youth understand the church year while giving special emphasis on the “old favorites.” Each age level has special programs that are innovative and age-appropriate, including current topic discussions and modern object lessons. Our professional music director leads the Sunday School opening teaching both children’s music and classic hymns.
Vacation Bible School
One week summer morning program for children 4 years through 8th grade. Attracts predominantly neighborhood “After School” children. High school students serve as assistants. Fresh, new programs with fun themes are used yearly.
Early Communion Training
Pastor Jeff will hold a series of three classes from 5:00 to 5:45 pm on the first three Wednesdays of December (6th, 13th, and 20th), just before the Advent soup suppers, for early communion training. Participants will receive their first communion on Christmas Eve at the 10:00 am service. If you have children in your family who are ready to participate in Holy Communion, please let Pastor Jeff know or call the church office.
Confirmation
For confirmation, we offer a two year program. The pastor and the Youth Minister lead the first year, covering the basics of the Lutheran faith. In the second year, confirmation candidates are matched with a member of the congregation for one-on-one mentoring. During the second year, the confirmation candidates attend, and discuss with their mentors, many rites of passage including a baptism and a funeral. The second-year confirmation students also visit two other churches and complete two service projects.
Youth Choir
Trinity's Youth Choir, for junior high through college age youth, is led by our senior choir director.

We host two youth groups at Trinity:
Junior High through High School group.
College group.
Praise Team youth.
